My expectation was that PBWorks would emerge as the preferred option because of the flexible design and collaboration options. I was surprised to arrive at the opinion that combining the two resources would allow a more balanced integration of the online tools for use in education. I can imagine using the combination in a variety of environments. In a more traditional classroom the asynchronous nature of both services would allow numerous activities to enhance in-class activities. In an online course, the tools could be integral to the experience, even if the course was offered on an institution's server-based Learning Management System.
