Assessment and Evaluation

Concept Maps

Assessment and Evaluation at Three Levels
1 - Program
2 - Learners
3 - Technology

Below is a PDF of the three concept maps. The full screen icon on the bottom right of the frame launches a new window displaying the document in the Windows SkyDrive Word app. It is recommended that the viewer set the scale on the very bottom right of the new window to "Full Page" (default is 75%).

Below are the three concept maps as separate images.

Program Design, Evaluation, and Assessment

Evaluation and Assessment of Learners

Evaluation and Assessment of Technology

The cycle of "Formative Feedback" and "Responsive Adjustments," and the cycle of "Revise" and "Design" are patterns presented by Lever-Duffy and McDonald (2011) in their model of Dynamic Instructional Design. The language of "representation, engagement, and expression" refers to Universal Design for Learning as described in the online video "UDL at a Glance" (UDLCAST, 2010). The language of "knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation" refers to Blooms Taxonomy as discussed by Bedard-Voorhees, Johnson, and Dobson (2011).
