Commuting to Providence (The One in Rhode Island) |
My first blog post was on December 12, 2006 (click HERE to check it out). I was facilitating an arts group at my church and we decided to create an online presence. It ran for a little over three years with peaks and valleys. Overall I made 76 posts in that time (click HERE to check 'em out). The effort met with such success that we created a side blog with material that was a little edgier, and may have been inappropriate to a church blog (click HERE to check it out).
Since then, I have kept several blogs for different reasons, including exploring the use of blogs as an alternative to websites. Here are some of them:
Digital Awakening, my most active blog these days. This started out as a poem a day but become sort of a multimedia portfolio.
Weavers' Nest, sort of a website / studio blog. Some of my colleagues had asked me to create some tutorials, and this is where I posted them.
Tracks of Steel, a blog that's just getting started about music projects. The intent is to blog projects as they unfold.
